Hi readers!
First, I want to start with saying thank you to all of you who have been reading and viewing my blog! It really means a lot to me! I hope the posts I am creating are of interest to you! I have more posts planned that will be coming soon! Thank you once again! ♡
Now, let's move on to the topic of this post - Motivational/Inspirational Backgrounds. I thought I would write a little something about this because I recently decided to create my own type of motivational/inspirational background. Here is the one I created:
I'm in love with it!! I have a couple motivational sayings and fitness/health photos to motivate and inspire me to live a healthy lifestyle. I also added a few scenic photos to feed my adventurous side... maybe it'll inspire me to travel more (I already travel a lot though, but there is never too much traveling).☺ I added a few photos from my favorite blogger, Amber Fillerup's blog. I love her little family and her in general, so I added some of her photos because her lifestyle is inspirational to me, plus she just takes the best photos.
Here is how to create your own background using PicMonkey:
1. Search for photos. I used tumblr and Amber Fillerup's blog to find great pictures I love and find inspirational. Once you've found some great photos, save them to a new folder on your computer so you can access them easily.
2. Get your background's layout. What device will your background be on? Computer? Phone? A tablet? For my background, I wanted it to be my computer's desktop background.
3. Use PicMonkey. Hit the design tab and click on the format/canvas option that will fit your device. For a computer, click on the custom canvas option, which is what I did. Then, enter the size of your computer. To find this on a Dell (it may be similar on other computers), go to your desktop's main screen with your current background. Right click anywhere on the screen that doesn't have a shortcut on it. Click Graphic Options, then Resolution. The resolution that is checked is the size of your computer screen. If this doesn't work for you, then just look for your computer's resolution size.

4. Overlays. Now, in PicMonkey, you'll hit the butterfly to add overlays. The photos you saved in Step #1 will be the overlays.
5. Organize your photos in whatever way you want to.
6. Done. Now you have your own motivational or inspirational background... or whatever you created your background for.
I hope you guys find this post helpful. I thought I'd create it because I made my background last night and it was pretty relaxing and fun for the most part... minus a couple minutes of frustration. ☺ In the end, it's worth it because I love looking at my background and feeling motivated to do whatever.
Have a good day!
