How I Style My Denim Skirt ||| YouTube

Hi fashion lovers!
Welcome to my blog!

When I first bought my denim skirt, I found it hard to figure out what to style it with.  After thinking of tops to go with it, I decided to create this video (link it) for other people having the same trouble I did.  This is a video on how I style my denim skirt and hopefully it will help you do the same!!
Please give it a watch and a like if you enjoy it or if it helps you!  :)
Also, remember to SUBSCRIBE while you're there!

Thanks for watching the video!  A new video will be out next Wednesday at 2:30 EST, just like every other week!  Also, a new blog post will be up this Sunday between 2-3 pm EST, which is my usual day for posting a blog post!

I hope you have a great week!  Talk to you soon!
-Rachel ♡

P.S.  Sorry about the changing lighting between clips.  I filmed some of the outfits on different days and times during the week.  Plus, I was using natural light and you know it never fully works with you.  :) I hope you'll still enjoy!!

My Favorite YouTubers!

Helloooo!
Today I wanted to mention some of my favorite YouTubers!  If you asked me who my favorite YouTubers were in middle school or even my freshman year of high school, my answers would have been very different from my answers now.  I used to mainly watch beauty and fashion videos, but now I watch video games, beauty, much less fashion, and whatever else!
I love everyone on this list for a different reason, whether it’s purely based on their videos or their own personalities.  Definitely leave a comment letting me know your favorite YouTubers.  I’ll check out the ones you mention.  :)

Here are my favorite!

The Sidemen
Short to say these guys have changed my life! ♡  I love all of their personalities when they are all together!.. especially when they play games or do real-life football (aka soccer) videos together!! They are all so funny and have lovely British accents!  Whenever I feel stressed or need a laugh, these are the guys I go to!  They instantly put a smile on my face.  Cheesy but true! :)  I love it when they play Dead by Daylight, Pictionary, and GTA  races together!  (p.s those videos are found individually on their own channels).

My Favorite Sidemen:

Simon (miniminter)
I love Simon.  Period.  :)  His videos are just amazing in my opinion.  I love every real-life video he creates and I love watching him play whatever game he plays (some are FIFA, Dead by Daylight, etc… ).  He has a great personality and is hilarious!  Plus, he is so good-looking!  He is currently my phone’s lock and home screen!  no shame!
I don’t really know what it is about Josh, but I love him too!  He is such a cutie and makes great videos as well!  He is a bit quieter compared to some of the other sidemen, but I like that about him.

Ethan (Behzinga)
Main thing I love about Ethan is his laugh!  Oh my goddess!  Just google ‘Behzinga’s laugh’!! :)  He is so hilarious, then his laugh just adds to it.  I’ll be laughing over something he says, then he’ll laugh too and it makes me laugh even more!! I recently just started watching his Mafia II series, and it is currently one of my favorite series he makes!

Vik (VikkStar123)
Vik just seems so nice, but can make a joke out of nowhere that makes you laugh.  Just like the other sidemen, I like Vik’s games with the other guys. I don’t watch too much of the videos he does on his own, but I just really love Vik’s personality!  Seems like a great guy!

Now onto other YouTubers!

Sarah Close
If you’ve read my blog for awhile, you know I love Sarah Close and her covers!  She just has such an amazing voice!! Ahh!! SO GOOD!

Amber Fillerup
First of all, I love her blog!  She has a great style and the cutest little family!  She posts vlogs of her and her family when they travel around the world; and she occasionally uploads beauty or fashion related videos.  I guess she would be more on the list of one of my favorite bloggers, but then she has a YouTube channel!

Amber Trevett
Amber is a fairly new/small YouTuber that I just discovered over the last month.  She does makeup and other beauty related videos.  You guys, she is amazing at makeup.  Definitely check her out!

Well, that’s all for now.  I hope you all have a beautiful week!

10 Beauty Items I Would Repurchase

Hiya!
Following last Sunday's post of things I wouldn't repurchase, today I'm going to tell you 10 makeup products I would repurchase/ have repurchased.  Let's get into it!

1. Urban Decay Naked 2 Basics Palette
My favorite shades in this palette are Skimp and Frisk.  I like the other colors too, but i love those two.  If you add up the costs of buying just those two shades alone, it costs more than buying the whole palette again.  When I run out of those shades and if I still love them, I plan on repurchasing the whole palette.

2. BareMinerals Touch-Up Veil Powder {Translucent}
This is the first powder I ever bought and I love it.  I've been using it since sometime in middle school and I am in my final year of high school now.  (4+ years! Wow!)  It is a pressed powder, but it does everything I want it too.  I guess you can say I'm loyal to this product! :)

3. CoverGirl Clump Crusher Mascara
The formula stays true to the name in my opinion.  My mascara never looks clumpy when I use this.  A light layer makes my lashes look natural... almost my lashes but better!  A bonus for me is the wand for this mascara.  It is like the shape of a half circle or a scooped shape, however way you want to describe it, and I really like that!

4.  Burt's Bees Lip Balm in Bees Wax??
I love this lip balm so much.  I've purchased the 4 pack, so I pretty much have them all over!  It is really good for when your lips are dry in the winter!  I use it all year round though.  If you're looking for a new lip balm to try, I highly suggest this!

5. CeraVe Body Moisturizer
This is my favorite moisturizer for my body.  I especially love it because I have eczema and it adds much needed moisture to those dry areas!

6. Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream
This is the best face product I have found that evens out my skin tone and helps clear up my spots.  It has salicylic acid in it to help treat acne.  My skin isn't clear, so it doesn't fully prevent any future spots from coming up, but it does speed up the process (meaning my blemish don't seem to stay as long)!

7.  Mario Badescu Ceramide Eye Gel
This product moisturizes my under eyes and feels really nice!  I used to just use eye creams, but I really like this gel.  It feels extra nice when I put it in the fridge over night and then its nice and cooling in the morning when I apply it.  I have and will continue to purchase it until I find something better.

8.  Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herb and Rosewater
The hype is real with this product!  I really like how easy it is to spray on and hydrates my skin quickly.  I like to spray it on once I've finished doing my makeup to add hydration and I think it helps any dry patches I may have look less dry!  Sometimes I spray it on and think my makeup looks better after I've applied it.

9.  Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser for All Skin Types
This summer, I decided I wanted to really take care of my skin, so I started trying different cleansers and exfoliators.  I tried a travel size of this Cetaphil one that I've heard a lot about and so far I like it.  I definitely think it has helped clear my skin up a bit.  Once I finish the travel size, I am planning on buying the full size.

10.  Vaseline Lip Therapy in Rosy Lips
This lip balm is great for when your lips a super dry in the cold winter months!  I really like to put this lip balm on right before I go to bed.  It smells very nice and makes my lips feel very smooth.  It definitely rehydrates my lips.  I am 100% going to be repurchasing this product within the next week or so because I am practically done the little tub I have of it now.  Plus, I like how it makes my lips look, well, rosy! :)  It's a great addition to my makeup looks when I don't want to wear lipstick or lipgloss.  It's practically like a really hydrating lipgloss, but a lip balm.

Thanks for reading!  Comment your thoughts on the products I mentioned and let me know what products you'd repurchase!

5 Makeup Products I Won't Repurchase

Happy Sunday!
I want to talk about 5 makeup products that I won't be repurchasing.  Here we go!

1. Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
I tried this mascara when I bought a Christmas little trial package last Christmas.  I was excited to try it because EVERYONE raved about it and only seemed to have good things to say; however, I didn't like it.  Personally, I didn't like the amount of volume this gave my lashes.  I like a more natural appearance with my mascaras.  Also, I found this mascara to be really flaky.  A few hours after I would apply it, it would be all over my under eyes, which is something I don't want.

2. Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer
The main reason I won't be repurchasing this bronzer is because I found it too dark for my light skin tone.  I don't like my bronzer being a full on brown line on the side of my face.  So if you have pale/light skin, get the milk chocolate soleil bronzer to try.  However, I don't think I will buy the milk chocolate one either just because I think there are cheaper/better bronzers for me out there.

3. Benefit That Gal Brightening Primer
I hated this product when I first used it and I believe it broke me out.  I did end up using it as eyeshadow primer for a bit to get use out of it and I was ok with that.  It gave my eyelids a nice cooling feeling which was nice, but I honestly wouldn't be worth buying again for me.  If you're wondering, it didn't keep my eyeshadow on long like the Urban Decay Primer Potion would.

4.  Makeup Revolution Ultra Cover & Concealer Palette
If I had to describe this in one word, it would be awful!!  I had the light colored palette and the colors were not good.  They were too light for me.  When I put this on under my eyes, it would look wayyyy too cakey and would crease.  It would also make my face look cakey and extra dry.  If you have dry skin, stay away!!  It will not make your dry patched look good at all.  It will just enhance/emphasize them.

5. CeraVe Makeup Removing Cleansing Cloths
My face just did not agree or like these wipes.  When I would wipe off lipstick, my lips would sting/tingle.  When I would wipe off eye makeup, my eyes would feel a bit irritated afterwards.  And for those reasons, I obviously wouldn't repurchase this product.  I have sensitive skin, so if you do as well, then be careful with these makeup wipes.

Thanks for reading!  Comment if you agree or your opinions of these products.  I hope you have a lovely week!
