π Hi. π
Where I live, it rarely gets below 65 degrees and it hasn't been below 75 yet. The leaves don't change color. Living in an apartment means my pretty mums (flowers) die in a few days. There are no pumpkin patches that I'm aware of. It never gets 'cold' enough to wear cute fall/winter clothes and jackets without sweating up a storm. And it never snows. As a person who loves all those things and the fall/winter months, where I live is awful. Yes, for many people it's a dream and their goal for retirement to live their lives near the beach, but those aren't my dreams. I dream of living in 30 degree weather with tons of snow, falling leaves, snowball fights, and all the other beautiful things that come along with the fall and winter seasons that I grew up with.
To sum it up, I miss living up north. I've had a big feeling of homesickness come over me these past few weeks. It's coming up on my second full year of living down south and if you couldn't tell already, I'm really missing the classic events that come with the fall and winter months. I thought, in order to help myself feel a bit better, I would put together this blog post full of lovely photos I found on the internet that are fall related. I'm having a big case of the 'Autumn Blues' and if you are too, then I hope this post can help you too!.. Or just give you cute fall photos to look at!
Thankfully, by the time you are reading this, I should be visiting grandparents up north and I should hopefully accomplished some fall-esque tasks I've been missing completing every year. If I did, then look forward to some photos from my adventures up north soon!
Have a good day! Enjoy!
