2016 Beauty Favorites!

Hi friends!
Now that we're fifteen days into 2017, I'm going to discuss my 2016 beauty favorites!  I hope 2016 was a good year for you.  It was a roller coaster for me with more lows than highs, but that's ok because I'm ready to make 2017 better!  Plus, I was able to find some things I loved this year (aka my favorites!) All products are linked expect the Lorac palette; just click the name of the product! :)
Cheers to a year full of happiness, fun, and adventure for all of us in 2017!!

My 2016 Beauty Favorites!:
Badger Balm Unscented Face Oil!  I bought this product in the hopes of it helping get rid of my acne scars and ohhhh did it do the job!  I was originally using Vitamin E tablets and cutting them open to use the product, which helped, but this Badger Balm oil has done great!  Highly recommend you give it a try if you have acne scars!
Benefit POREfessional Face Primer was my go-to primer in 2016!  I absolutely love it!!  It feels nice on my skin, creates a barrier between my foundation and skin, and fills in my pores!!  I highly suggest it; however, I'm thinking of trying the NYX Pore Filler or Glossier's primers to see if they are good cruelty free dupes!

Lorac Love, Lust & Lace Shimmer Eyeshadow Palette (Limited Edition)!  I bought this for Christmas two years ago, but I've only recently discovered using the two lightest shades (the shimmery white and pink) as highlighters!  They are perfect for me and are currently my go-to highlighters!  I love using the shimmery pink shade on my brow bone and on my lids, the shimmery white shade on my cupid's bow, and both together in the inner corners of my eyes and on my cheek bones!  If you love highlighter and can find this palette anywhere (maybe on Depop or Vinted), I highly suggest you get it!  Beautiful shadows and highlighters!
The Real Techniques Expert Face Brush has become my go-to foundation/bb cream brush in the final months of 2016!  I was always that girl who was against using a brush and super pro-beauty sponge because using brushes to apply foundation always made my skin too dry and cakey.  However, sponges never gave me to coverage I desired with a light feeling foundation.  When I gave the Expert Face Brush a go, I feel in love with it!  It gave me that extra bit of coverage, but didn't made my look dry or cakey!  (P.S. I don't stroke or rub with the brush, I apply my foundation by bouncing or dabbing it into my skin!)

Garnier Micellar Water Makeup Remover! Check out my review here! This stuff has changed my way of how I remove my makeup!  I believe it's better for my face than pulling and tugging my face with makeup wipes.  It removes mascara and eye makeup easily!! Plus, it works as a good cleanser to clean my face.  I love it!

Vanity Planet Cleansing Face Brush (with the dry skin brush head!)!  I've unboxed this product here and reviewed this product here if you'd like to see those posts!  My favorite brush head is the silicone one, which is meant for dry and sensitive skin types (aka my skin type!).  I love how it makes my face feel more clean than just washing my face with water or just my hands with cleanser.  It really helps my cleanser give my skin a deep clean!  I think it is way more effective than just using your hands!
CoverGirl Clump Crusher Mascara!! OMG! This is my all-time favorite mascara!  I love the formula and I love the curved brush!  I'm not one for spider lashes.  I like my lashes to look longer, but natural when I put mascara on!  This product completely does the job for me!  Love it!!

CeraVe Moisturizing Cream for normal to dry skin!  This is my holy grail body moisturizer!  Since I have dry skin and eczema, this is perfect of me!  It's not scented and neither thick or light (a good in-between!) P.S. if you go through tubs of these like I do, buy them at Walmart because they are the cheapest there!

How could I forget my Mario Badescu Facial Spray!! If you know personally, then you know I love this product!  I think everyone loves this product to be honest!! Get it if you have not done so already!!
